👀 Got some photos while a colleague shot video, saw a vintage Triumph, walked my baby home from school (ice cream stop on the way), and even had a beer with a friend. Not too bad.

Considering buying some new photo gear … a bicycle. That would extend my current “radius of photography” from 5-7 km to 25-30km (at least). Now I need to decide if it’s worth the money.

@maique Yeah, editing on the phone isn't my favorite but I understand that it's a requirement. I don't want to capture a whole election (?) like you do, but I would really try to capture a conference (3-4 days). I got an offer to cover a conference in the US 7-8 years ago, but I had to decline. Now I would really enjoy it.

@maique As long as I have only 50-100 photos I prefer to edit on the iPad. It's rare that I do any editing on the phone. Otherwise it's the desktop.

Unfortunately the "conferences" in Umeå are small, perhaps 30-100 people while those I think of are > 1000 people and in my research area those almost exclusively happens in the US.

One of my life failures is that I haven’t written an app that I would consider a “real” app. Sure, I’ve written many “tools” to do specific tasks, usually data conversion, but not one app for the general public.
