@YakyuNightOwl if I was buying I’d get the serial number. They stopped making the 4001 in the early 80s, and the 4003 ever since. That ain’t no original ‘Made in the USA’ sticker still on there after 40 years.

I've been giving good free stuff away on NextDoor, a bass guitar this morning, a mandolin a couple days ago, a CarPlay capable stereo tonight. I start each listing with "Do NOT click the 'Hi, is this still available?' button because I might not answer you" and it's helped weed out the unserious and the snipers.
