Banning mask wearing in public for health reasons has got to be illegal, even if some numnuts made it the law, right?

@artcollisions it definitely violates the whole 'life' part of 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happines' thing. Ugh

Sometimes I'm struggled with the performance and inconsistent behaviour between browsers while using css-doodle. This often leads me to consider switching to other tools.

But I really like the syntax of css-doodle. So maybe I could reimplement it using another render layer other than CSS, like canvas?

@yuanchuan I'd be tempted, if I like the syntax, to write a layer that I could access with my preferred syntax, as you suggest.

By the way, I use Canvas a lot in my own works. There are lots of quirks, but generally nice to work with, in my experience.

@yuanchuan I'm sure you already know this, but you can also combine canvas and svg, by layering divs on top of each other. I'd love to see what you'd do with that.

It's that time again...I gotta get to work on my Maker Faire and SF Zine Festival applications, and cross my fingers that they accept me.

kristinHenry,

Do you know of any Art Festivals or Conferences that I should apply to?

I'm more interested in public facing events, so that I can expose more people to #SciArt and #Science in general.

But I'm open to more specialized conferences, if there's an actual interest there in my work.

I just finished my SF Zine Fest application. Crossing my fingers that they choose me, because I had such a wonderfully lovely time at last year's.

Oh wow! I don't know why I haven't thought of this before. But I'm thinking about making a zine about my project

Thinking about a string of thoughts as a string of beads today.

I didn't get around to posting yesterday's drawing here, but it's on my Patreon and Ko-fi:

Going with a dancing starfish for today's drawing.

Here's an in-progress shot.
