The weirdest thing to me is that as much as communism and socialism were demonized during the last century, both those systems as implemented and capitalism as implemented seem to be on the same road to ruin. With the exact same end results.

@Adam_Cadmon1 I only feel that communism/socialism were going to ruin thanks to capitalist intervention.

There hasn't really been a socialist project to exist without capitalist nations sanctioning them because of a perceived threat.

On my way to Virginia to collect some signatures, I drove by not one, but TWO Cybertrucks.

Just to make this point clear, I was in rural North Carolina.

Miles away from any big city with Superchargers.

And I saw TWO Cybertrucks.

@LinuxAndYarn This is the third one I've seen in the state.

The first one I saw was driving down the interstate close to a city/town that I would expect to see someone own a Cybertruck.

Unless these two Cybertrucks were heading to/from an offroading session (wouldn't recommend it), I don't know why they were in the boonies.

@thepoliticalcat That's the whole point.

It's why I've been trying to put in the work and get into spaces where I can learn as much as I can.

If I can't act because I waited too late, at least I can still be a conduit for someone else who has more time and energy.

I think my experiment with my Mac Mini as an HTPC is over.

I can't make the setup any simpler right now, so having a keyboard and mouse to control everything is kind of annoying.

@clayknight I mean, I replaced an Apple TV with it.

I'm just going back to the Apple TV as nothing was really wrong with it.

I just wanted to see if using a computer was better given what I currently have.

I don't have the finances to invest more into the project at the moment.

@clayknight I mainly use mine to watch YouTube videos downloaded to my Plex server.

Maybe some Netflix, Disney+, or Hulu.

I'd watch OTA, but I don't know if I can sit through commercials ever again...lol

I try at my parents' house, and I can't stand it.

Well, it looks like I'm gonna have to reinstall macOS on my MBP.

Surprisingly, this is the first time I had to do a OS reinstall in quite some time.

I'm kind of excited!

I have a spare Mac to try it on.

@mousey Oh, don't get me wrong. I have a couple of Linux servers in the home.

I am running Linux here, but for my gaming and production work, I've gotten used to Windows and Mac for those.
