I have a 2014 XPS 27 aio that’s still going fine for light work, so by your math it’ll be about 80ish in human years this year. I wonder if I’ll start treating it any differently knowing this. I should apply some thermal paste some time, it’s been six or seven years since it had a new coat.
I think the major hurdle is that they can’t just rebrand the existing app, they have to release a new one. Keeping the K-9 app around will help the user transition long term. The folks in this thread follow Thunderbird and Thunderbird for Android development but my guess is the majority of K-9 users don’t. At some point when or if K-9 installs drop they will probably revisit the issue.
Used to live in Hurlstone Park. Riding bike down Duntroon St and see a lump in road so I swerve to avoid. Realised it was a turtle like this, maybe a lil bigger. Made it clear to WIRES I could not babysit for couple days and a volunteer came over that night. Biggest they’d ever seen they said.
No way that turtle made it to Duntroon St on its own. Bit sad someone took it from the river but at least it made it home (I think).
Sidenote: I remember a PSA/campaign that had people flashing the 👌 gang sign at each other. I don’t think it was Do The Right Thing. I think it was about being a good person in your community like helping people carry their groceries home but I’ve never been able to find out what it was. Any chance you recall?
Our office is on a residential internet plan. We miss out on some basics like a dedicated IP because of the ISP we’re with. We also don’t need services locked behind business plans (higher speeds, private intranet etc). It’s a small office with not a lot going on.
