Yeah as you said you have to swipe down twice and strech your finger to the top of the screen (or use the other hand). Definitely a bottom dashboard is more convenient.

I’m a happy user of Fedora workstation. What makes Silverblue better? I’ve never tried it. I’ve done lots of changes but my system has been rock solid since Fedora 36.
Thanks much for the detailed reply. It’s obviously not for me since I do a lot of tinkering and I’m used to the traditional system. But it definitely should be suitable for some scenarios. Scools and kiosks come to mind.
Elegant, easy to use web based admin panel. Google authentication. Exit nodes (routing all traffic through a peer). Subnet routes. Funnels. It’s the best tech I’ve used lately.
It’s not self-hosted but it’s incredibly useful for self-hosting as it makes public access to locally hosted services a breeze. It’s user-friendly, feature-rich and scalable.
My ISP doesn’t give a Public IP and let me open ports without paying a extra fee, which I cannot afford rn. I host all my services on a old PC, Anyways that i can access my services beyond my LAN?
