@Bridgemakes Right now I'm eyeing a second warp core... maybe a proto-drive... who knows maybe tinker with a spore drive if I can find someone to stuff in the Spock box...

I'm open to options on bunks. Thinking we may need to go in for a Titan style refit, and just rebuild everything with the old parts...

I know the feel on the training. My company tries to pimp me out occasionally to speak on security for sales reasons. It runs me down, and usually leaves everything behind when I get back.

@Bridgemakes Will do. At some point once I get a solid path forward, I'm probably going to have to drag in @IGotABigOleBody . He's kinda been the Rom in engineering to your Kira on the bridge. But so far I've just been beating my head against different options.

Hey everyone, before I drop this week's poll, I wanted to let you know two changes I'm making:

  1. I'm not going to do spring break Larkin polls for . Not because I'm not viewing but because without seeing the original material I can't seem to come up with good ones beyond what the guys did.

Following on @Bridgemakes example I'd like to offer a for all the new 's that have joined since the P1.

I'm Mike, admin and chief engineer of the Hood. Life-long Trekkie and long-time . I'm an and specialist by day, and a husband and father to a large brood of children 24x7.

I launched the Hood hoping as a place for all the FoD's to be able come together away from the worst of social media and share their love of but also more.

@Cassandra It was a collective effort. The latinum came out of the Hood's Dilithium funds, but the creation was a group effort. There's actually a whole thread on the fod timeline where you can see us coming up with the wording and even deciding the timing. I'll have to go dig the thread up if you want to see the process.

@Bridgemakes @dezrah To give you an idea of how it works, all the Mastodon servers (and the non-Mastodon servers - we won't go there for now) talk to each other or Federate. So you can interact with anyone on Mastodon from here on the Hood. But each community server like the Hood sets its own rules and has its own mods. They enforce rules and ban local and remote users. There's also times when whole other servers will get banned because they aren't watching their peeps. It's called defederation

@kuma I do wish more of the current religious in my country remembered the whole "easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle" sermon... I see many that seem to think prosperity is something to be hoarded. It would be nice to remember these teachings, or something similar.

@andosp I have a tendency to slide these in my covos at work all the time, and for the most part everyone just ignored me or thought there was something wrong with me. Now that I've started getting co workers listening, one will actually call me out in meetings if I do it. Not only does he put me on blast, but the he derails the whole conversation while we explain what we're on about. Usually followed by me explaining something to him. (He's still deep in TNG)
