Until they retroactively add a launcher like BioShock 1, 2007 game getting a launcher added in 2023. Luckily that one’s not DRM and can be circumvented, unlike Monster Hunter World getting DRM 6 years after release breaking it on some platforms. Seems like only Monster Hunter Rise got the new DRM that broke Steam Deck support for a few days.
The changes to linux audio lately are a bit of a mess. Wireplumber completely changed their config format with 5.0 and it just stopped launching if you had v4 configs.
I do appreciate that we’re not stuck with pulseaudio anymore though so I really shouldn’t complain.
I’m a TikTok user (sorry) and love the longer educational videos, but over 10 minutes which is the current limit seems excessive in this format. I wanna be able to pause and continue these later which doesn’t fit into how TikTok works.
IMO these should be separated into different apps, when I use YouTube I also don’t wanna be made to watch their shorts. I wouldn’t mind a YT alternative by TikTok – don’t get me wrong they’re also a horrible company but it wouldn’t harm to have competition by one of the few who could pull it off.
Too confusing, why can I create them with one command but not restore them in the same way? Last time I was gonna use them to fix an issue I spent an hour trying to figure out how to restore it and then just ended up fixing the issue manually in much less time.
The graphic in the post does cut off 4 seasons before the current one and also before where the top level comment mentioned writing got significantly better again.
It works until you wanna search for something that’s somewhat similar to a common word. The other day I wanted to look for a discussion I’ve had about OpenAL, went to search for it and it showed everything with the word “open” in it. There’s no further control so you’re just at the mercy of what the search thinks you want, and this happens way too often.
lemmyBB exists which lets you view Lemmy as a forum. Seems like all the hosted versions of it are down though, and nutomic is too busy working on the backend to maintain it.
Microsoft will just refuse to let me log with a third-party TOTP after setting it up. Security key is also “not supported” on Firefox even though it works for every other site.
