Seriously, what is up with the Brave browser? Since yesterday it's not working right. Tabs don't load. Did a reinstall, and it was okay until it wasn't.

@NaraMoore No idea. I hope this will be the end of it. I'm still on the fence to upgrade to Win 11, esp with that dodgy security update that 95% of Win 10 users can't get to install.

I may have to give up on my blog site. Not getting help to recover it and can't get hold of anyone for a new recovery key. That will be 16+ years of content lost forever. Maybe it's an omen. I'm spreading myself too thin on all this marketing-related work, with no time to write.

@NaraMoore To be honest, I feel as if 95% of what I do is a waste of time. If a publisher isn't marketing a book properly, then a book is not going to make it. I've seen it time and again, and not just for me, but for many other authors out there.

@NaraMoore I've worked both sides of the business, and I don't see either as being better. Too many people are now "publishing" and selling their work so cheaply (or free?) it's killing any viable business model. When people ask me for advice on becoming a writer, I tell them to get their plumbing certificate.

After a big food shop yesterday and a new recipe I plan to try (poor @teddytedaloo - he's already complaining all over social media about this imminent danger), I discovered that the quinoa I thought I had is very likely couscous. Fortunately, I was able to score a cup of quinoa from a neighbour!
