Hello, welcome to my profile! My name is Maddie, I am a 21 year old transgender woman living in the US. My pronouns are she/her.

I'm not the YouTuber Michael MJD, our usernames are similar by coincidence. Please try not to joke about this, as being called a masculine name causes me dysphoria.

I accept most follow requests, however I appreciate it when requesters have made a few posts and introduce themselves in their bio. I will not accept your follow request if you're on an instance I've muted (such as mastodon.social), your bio contains hate speech/bigotry, your pfp contains hate symbols or imagery, your account is a bot, or your account is made to advertise a website, instance, service, etc. I may also reject follow requests for other personal reasons.

I consider my publicly available posts to be in the public domain. You may use them for whatever purposes you'd like. Any followers only or direct messages do not apply, please do not repost them or use them.

My posts often contain swearing, and I occasionally post or boost lewd things with CWs. If these things bother you, you might not want to consider following me.

i don't particularly like arch, but one of the best things about it in my opinion is it's developed by volunteers instead of a company that'll eventually ruin it for more money, i think that's probably one of the most important things to look for in a distro in the modern age where getting fucked over by corporations is a daily occurrence

decided i'd reinstall windows XP on this dell latitude D630 i've had for a while. i think i got it around five or six years ago, mostly to satisfy my mid 2000s nostalgia fix. i had a lot of fun with the current XP install, but it's honestly been trashed a bit too much for my liking. there's a ton of stuff that runs at startup now and a bunch of random stuff i installed, and i think i'd like a clean slate so i can mess around with some old software and browse some old websites.
