Following the #accessibility and #a11y tags on Mastodon has been so educational and has grown my interest in web accessibility.

I'm more convinced than ever that building minimal, functional, accessible web tools is a great way forward.

I don't do web dev professionally, so my ability to apply this is limited, but it's fascinating to follow nonetheless.

The #Reddit collapse has made me realize how low-quality most of the stuff I was reading there was, anyway. It's not hard to take a break.

It's been fun to sign up for a good-old-fashioned #rss #feedreader again and start remembering the blogs I like.

It feels more human-scale and more personal.
