Today is Mother’s Day in France. And let’s just seize this opportunity to think about all those like me who wish there wasn’t a dedicated day every year to remind us of our traumatizing parents, the memory of whom will keep ruining our days and nights for the rest of our lives.

There really should be a scarred children’s Day. We deserve all the fucking care in the world.

Apple no longer ships two long straps with the Sport Bands. Now they just ship the long one. As a result the M/L Pride band that I ordered yeaterday and received today is way too big for me 😞

Is it common in your country to take leftovers home from a restaurant? Feel free to mention where you live.

I ask because yesterday my girlfriend and I went to a restaurant with a menu that had 10 servings. There was no way we could finish it all, so my girlfriend asked for boxes to take some of it home. I think she is really cool for doing that because it's not very common in Denmark, and I'm too shy to do it myself. This made me wonder how normal it is to do so around the world.

@simonbs I think it's fairly common here in France, but I feel it does depend a lot on the kind of restaurant you're at.
I don't think it's something you can do or ask whenever it's a bit of a fancy one.
