In this particular story, if there’s any truth to it then it’s basically extortion. They could have just said that due to their usage profile they will need to switch to an enterprise license for the next billing period . Instead they tried to extort it within 24h lol.

And of course you have to buy a whole year of service (lol). This last thing is a symptom of a degenerate market with few competitors. No company that fears competition would try to pull that stunt.

This is far more likely. Biden like many Democrats has been blindly pro-Isreal for literally 4-5 decades. He’s a sure thing and he will be treated as such. There’s no advantage to praising Biden and no disadvantage to shitting on him. Seems Israel has more of a right to American tax dollars than Americans do .

There’s also some tactical value in pretending youre going to testify - the prosecution team will spend a lot of time and effort preparing for it and how to best conduct the cross examination. In this case I doubt it made much difference on that front though.

The finale of S1 of SNW is top-tier star trek IMO. They managed to show that even though Pike did everything “right” from his own frame of reference (on the basis that violence can escalate to war and war is to be avoided at all costs so violence must be extremely measured) . The Romulans are operating from a completely different frame, where not pressing an advantage is fatal weakness.

Basic blender went bad (motor ran but spindle wasn’t rotating). I wanted to disassemble to see if it could be repaired. Three of the four screws were Phillips head. I had to cut the casing open in order to discover why I couldn’t unscrew the fourth. It was a slotted spanner.

Grinding a notch into a flathead screwdriver is annoying but it’ll still work fine as a flathead even afterwards. I would probably just grind the bulge out of the screw though.

Yes and also I have a hard time believing the builders if the great pyramid didn’t understand it in some capacity either. They just didn’t have symbolic algebra to express it the way we do .

They still haven’t really done it. Taxi apps that exist are mostly shit. They didn’t want to have the idea first, they just wanted their status quo to persist indefinitely just like any other degenerate sector with an artificial supply constraint.
