I liked this one. It's not great, but it's well done and is a novel twist on the regular found footage ghost house type film. It's found footage ghost house at the bottom of a lake, in scuba gear.
So many of the movies I've watched recently have felt like they are doubling as an ad for a particular location, as if sponsored by the local tourist board.
I understand this is in fact the way of the world, and there were very likely financial incentives in play in each case.
This movie is one that is distressing to me in a unique way. I myself have been traveling with another person who was way more into chasing exotic sights than I was, and I also felt held captive by the other person.
I know people handle stress differently, but the thing snapping me out of my suspension of disbelief all the time are all these seemingly unmotivated actions. There are just a lot of them.
