The AI hype machine feels like The Forever Purge but for Tech April Fools Shit. It's like, nah, we're punking you all year now. One day is not enough anymore.
I have briefly consulted my stash of "bottom of the barrel movies" and there are so many ripe ones. Overly ripe. I could throw a dart and the odds of a stinker are huge, overwhelming, etc.
He's out, but also he's just having a really bad day. I just saw him use the litter box and I guess the walk over there wore him out because he had to sit down (still in the litter box) to rest. Poor guy.
While the movies were on, I started to look into updating my game's collision detection to use contacts reported by parry.rs but I have no idea what these numbers mean, or how to use them.
I think if I can't make the numbers make sense, I may need to attempt to do the whole rigid body thing, going all in on the 3rd party physics. The trick at that point will be how to blend control between manual transforms (moving the player up/down for ledges or in/out of doors).
I liked this one. It's not great, but it's well done and is a novel twist on the regular found footage ghost house type film. It's found footage ghost house at the bottom of a lake, in scuba gear.
This movie is one that is distressing to me in a unique way. I myself have been traveling with another person who was way more into chasing exotic sights than I was, and I also felt held captive by the other person.
