Pro tip: You don’t need to use NFL (Not For Laffy) on days when I’m not live-posting trial threads.

NFL is only applicable when I need to skip your replies (they pile up enormously even on non-trial and slow days), but no need to extend that courtesy on non-proceedings days.

And thanks again for being considerate enough to use it when I need you to. It really helps.

@GottaLaff Mastodon, at via least the web UI, pre-populates the reply with an at-mention of the account being replied to. For "NFL" comments, does it help you any if we remove the at-mention of you from the reply before submitting? (And thanks for all that you do!)

Steppin' Out by Joe Jackson is one of my all-time favorites, and this version won't replace it, but this tune has a nice relaxing vibe. Producer Trevor Horn recruited Seal to sing a version that's somewhere between smooth jazz, synthwave, and bossa nova.
