Now, let us all be honest. There has only been one surf film, ever, worth the time of an auteur and that is Bruce Brown’s seminal masterpiece The Endless Summer. Others, including Point Break, North Shore, Blue Crush are cute. Others still, including Chasing Mavericks and In God’s Hands, are so offensive as to count as...

I’m still on Win10, but the second I see yet another ad on my pro license, I’m wiping the drive. As long as I have some kind of choice, I will not run hostile operating systems on my own hardware.
These sovcit posts look like they belong in the wizarding world or something to me. They read like
“I sent three eyes of newts to the ministry of dark arts, and one wing of fairy to the department of destinies, but the overlords of magic constraint still won’t let me fly my broomstick to the neverland. Why are they illegally preventing me from binding with the one true dark form? What did everyone else do to get their vessels stamped for approval?”
Meanwhile, their electric company is like, “Yo, you used $50 worth of electricity. We need you to send us $50 in usable currency if you want to continue using electricity from us. Please send us usable currency instead of jars of spiders like you did last month. Thanks.”
Medical bills that insurance didn’t cover. Him and his wife didn’t share specifics with me, but my understanding is that he blew through the insurance maximums yearly for years. Leukemia is a bitch.
Main question in title. It sounded like the majority platform for the game is PC. What’s stopping the devs from just re-releasing the game on PC without Sony as the publisher? Can the devs just abandon ship and start fresh, but without Sony?
I mean, I know they likely have some ironclad contracts, but it probably wouldn’t cover AH’s “next” game, right? I’m realizing this is probably a silly question, but what recourse does AH have at this point? Did they just sign a contract giving away all rights to their game to the publisher?
Damn. Maybe their next game can be called Shelldivers. Armed snails deployed to the bottom of the ocean to destroy trash monsters and deep sea creatures.
More content, more comments. The news feed is a little slow, especially for some communities. For example, if you go to specific game communities, there may only be a post or two a day, where Reddit has a dozen an hour. It leads to less conversations.
The senator, who ran for the Republican nomination for president last year, repeatedly refused to say whether he’d accept this year’s presidential election results, regardless of who wins....
I don’t think this culture of “if my person doesn’t win, the election was rigged” bs is going to stop with Trump. I think this is just the beginning of the enshittification of politics and elections and idiocracy for running the country.
In 20 years I expect we will see entire seasons of reality TV shows during election years with the candidates as guest, smearing each other and trying to top each other with the more outrageous false information possible, with the winner each season becoming the president.
As long as there is 0% chance of consequences, and more than 0% chance of possibly flipping an election, they will keep trying. Every election will become this shit show very quickly. There is literally no reason for it not to.
I think you answered your own question in the first part, and for the rest, I was mostly interested in the immersion in the game via roleplaying, like NPC’s having their own routines, living, breathing world, etc. A.K.A. the stuff they lied about that still has not made it into the game.
Hello Games sold a game that was not what was promised. It is not common to have a game be released in the state that NMS was released in get the support that NMS received. Definite red flag. I would stop, and really think hard before purchasing another game from them. Not that I wouldn’t buy one, but I would use some brain function before doing so.

Is there anything stopping AH from Re-releasing a fork of HD2 as HD3 and putting it on Steam without the PSN requirement?
