reddig33,

NYT daily: I’m thinking something was lost when translating this one for the app. I eventually figured out the “stair step” squares, but where were the clues for the vertical answers they produced?

reddig33,

Ideas like “midichlorians”? Good riddance then.

reddig33,

You messed up worse than just getting rid of awards.

reddig33,

Chamberlain has an almost monopoly in this market.

Keep in mind that their “smart” openers do not integrate well with Siri, HomeKit, Homebridge, or similar platforms. They want you to use their app, so they can show you ads.

The savings from not having to pay treatment costs for as many arthritis, heart disease, stroke, fatty liver, and diabetes cases should balance the costs.

Also most insurance companies refuse to cover semaglutide, so I don’t see this bankrupting anyone but the patients who pay out of pocket.

reddig33,

Kinect. Skype. The tv tuner features. It plays blu ray. It has streaming apps. On top of that it plays network-based games that I enjoy.

Most of that is gone now. It still has game pass that I check out every now and then.

reddig33,

Why is Google determined to kill one of its cash cows? Cramming AI into search results feels like “New Coke”.

I see that anti trust / Internet Explorer investigation had no effect at all.

reddig33,

Haven’t we already had multiple national commissions about this subject? How about socialized mental health care for all instead?

reddig33,

Sounds a lot like the Roman Colosseum.

reddig33,

Could’ve sworn Data was built specifically to be that way because the prior model unnerved people, and also conspired to kill an entire camp of federation colonists.

reddig33,

When your service is really good. It never hurts to let management know when they’ve hired someone who knows what they are doing.

reddig33,

A spineless twat would say such a thing.

reddig33,

Maybe. Or maybe someone buys them out, or the landlord is given the option to flip them open for free use. The good news is it should leave the infrastructure in place.

reddig33,

Sounds like “that one place” is put together by the lowest bidder.

reddig33,

User agent strings are an outdated discriminatory concept. Browsers should be specifying supported JavaScript, HTML, and CSS versions instead.

reddig33,

This was festering long before the Internet. Where do you think Margaret Atwood got the idea of the Handmaids Tale from?

reddig33,

Strange. This looks like a decent evolution of the previous game, with a built-in audience.

reddig33,

It could be the franchise owners getting squeezed like they did with Quiznos. If you have to buy Chipotle ingredients from Chipotle, and they’ve raise d the prices of those ingredients, but you’re not allowed to raise customer prices — it could result in smaller portions without a directive coming from corporate.

reddig33,

Some people are so talented. That is a really clever painting.
