As I keep thinking about this... A few days ago I stumbled upon the micronics SLS 3D printer which they promise to deliver for 3k$. So far they've released two videos about the printer:

While they videos are a bit janky and the machines are clearly still in early prototype level, this does look quite interesting.

So some of the handling even looks complicated in their videos like scooping the powder cake (https://youtu.be/hLqSaEiXzIU?t=250) or the assemby process from the second video (https://youtu.be/SupuCvfviWQ?t=62, also janky prototype) for example but they seem to use their printers for some printer parts itself and the quality looks quite ok.
What I also like, is that a lot of their technology is visible in the videos.

The operational time of the filter inside the printer with just 300h seems quite low, the dust extractor seems a bit dodgy and the glass plate cleaning... yeah. :D
Sooo... I'm looking forward how this comes along as I'm very tempted to order one of these machines. 🤔

Was ich auf jeden Fall fürs nächste Mal brauche... Eine bessere Lösung für den Rost, die nicht aus Eisenpulver besteht, welches in frische Farbe eingestreut werden muss. 🤔

Die Suche nach einer guten Rosteffektfarbe ist gar nicht so einfach, vor allem wenn der Kandidat "Modern Options instant rust" heißt.
Meine Suchergebnisse sind voll mit Guides zu Rust, der Programmiersprache.
Nicht, dass ich das nicht erwartet habe, aber hilfreich ist es nicht.
