Yesterday was rough. Our yard backs onto a mountain here in AZ. It is visited by a family of wild rabbits. A gopher snake killed a baby and dragged it into the pool, while the mother watched, helpless. The mother left. Later, after we got the snake removed and the yard had calmed down, we noticed two more dead baby rabbits in the pool. We figured that they were hiding out somewhere and then strayed into the pool, looking for their mother. Heartbreaking.
@wez Our dog, Stanley, suffers/suffered (they seem to be under control now) from seizures and it’s truly heartbreaking to see it happen. Hope the recovery is quick and easy. 🩶
Remember when if the GUI had a toggle, it was actually a toggle control and not a button that sort-of-acts as a toggle control?
And remember when, if you clicked that button, it didn’t move out from under your cursor so that if you try to toggle it again, you didn’t actually accidentally click a DIFFERENT button because the button you want moved?
@ramsey FWIW, ours runs on an AWS/EC2 t3.micro (which is 2vCPU @ baseline 10% + bursts) and serves ~25 people on a given workday. It also does Tailscale, and runs our self-hosted Element if anyone happens to be using that today.
