I am a photographer on a quest. My photography is under the name Dry Beer, posted up to twice a week. This is a personal feed, but one day there will be an instance set up just for the photography.

I follow FEAST principles: Freedom of Expression, Association, Speech and Thought are of paramount importance to me. I value open, honest and when possible considerate discussion very highly. If I share an opinion you consider spicy, don't build me up into something I'm not in your head, just ask me about it, let's talk and assume the best of each other.

Be mindful that I also have a sense of humor, and there's not filter on it because then it just wouldn't be fun.

@coolboymew I have a friend who’s been playing through 3 while testing out archipelago with some others. It’s been long enough that I would probably start from the first game over again, since the first 2 I actually played in the form of fan patched rom translations in days that are now probably prehistoric.

@coolboymew I’ve been keeping tabs. The inaugural game my friends have been playing is:

  • One playing Ocarina of Time
  • One playing Link’s Awakening DX
  • One playing MMBN3
  • One playing Minecraft

The ambition is clearly there, but the pacing is hit or miss, lots of long waits for some players to unlock progression in the others’ games. It’s also run using scripts in bizhawk, which is not my preferred platform. There are plans to natively include it in Ship of Harkinian eventually for ocarina players (I think they’re refactoring the randomizer code before they work on that and multiworld), and I’ll wait until that is ready.

@coolboymew I’m reasonably sure it’s using a lobby system to keep track of progression independent of who is currently playing. They’re generally playing together but there have been overnights where I get an update like “I spent the rest of the night going over what’s left for me, it’s on x now.” One of these friends lives in Ireland so sleeping hours are inconsistent and it’s almost certainly forced some long gaps where only 1 or two were playing at a time.
