The point is that even if not every man is dangerous, women have to treat every man as if he is, because any man could be. Find me a woman who leaves her drinks unattended at bars and I’ll show you a woman who knows what it feels like to get roofied. For women, prejudice against unknown men is not problematic, it’s pragmatic.

To my mind, a lot of astrophotography seems to be hooking a camera up to a telescope, making sure it’s focused right, and taking a buncha pictures. Of course proper maintenance of equipment plays a massive role, but my understanding is that a lot of the effort comes from knowing how to post-process

How do you feed the animals in winter?

Livestock requires food too. However much you need to grow and store in the warm months to feed the animals in winter could feed 10 times as many humans instead, regardless of how you do that. Not feeding the plants we grow to animals would necessarily be more efficient.
