You know, they’ve got a very valid point. Language is spoken before it is written and it changes with time. I’ve got the opinion that orthography should be subordinate to pronunciation. If ‘then’ and ‘than’, historically pronounced differently, become homophone, they could be written the same.

I’m tired of English and French orthographies being so conservative, writing words like they were pronounced hundreds of years ago…

I’m confused. These people want nothing to do with government because they didn’t consent to being born under its authority, right? And they want to tap into money that daddy government allegedly set aside for them?

On the other hand, I’m wondering if maybe all of this might be out of desperation in the broken debt system of the us? Or maybe they just want to cheat a system that they don’t respect…

About the sidewalks, I guess it’s an infrastructure problem. They’re new so there’s no intended place for parking them yet. Brussels recently began turning some car parking places into scooter parking, it’s pretty nice!

Another possible interpretation I haven’t seen in the comments: it’s possibly about capitalism under which companies fund school where you learn that it’s normal to be a wage slave or something like that?
