Fun little thing: wrote some code that tries to get the predominant background color from icons so that I can use better placeholder colors in a future update to @Opener. Seems to work pretty well.

A lot of the positive things I hear about SwiftUI are like “it’s great for static tables in settings menus!” I wonder if there’s an opportunity to just make table views easier to deal with but still have them be UIKit-backed

Update on view controller leaks stemming from prefersGrabberVisible (https://mastodon.social/@timonus/110294950761155548): I went to a UIKit lab about this and they acknowledged that it's an issue, they're working to resolve it. The reason some folks might not see it (it's kind of heisenbug-y for my team) is that only particular combos of accessibility settings trigger it.
