I once got yelled at on Lemmy for suggesting that a knife could be as powerful as a gun if used properly. I was accused of being pro gun, which I am not.

Totally agree. I can still say that knives are dangerous without supporting guns. Which brings me back to mental healthcare and people not wanting to admit that’s the actual issue, because it’s more difficult to understand than “ban guns” (which I’d be happy with). But in the absence of guns, we get this guy. A 6-body knife killer.

25 minutes is way too long. Could be under 5. Basically it’s glitchy as hell and someone else will do it better. Also costs a ton and has a required subscription.

EDIT: I was asked what the question was, so tl;dr it would be: is the threat of patsoc, particularly the “MAGA communism” development a significant threat...

Well, Iran was providing weapons to various groups that were fighting Israel. The target Israel hit was a military target that supposedly was a meeting of high ranking personnel from various groups. Iran’s involvement is typically indirect and involves support through these proxies rather than direct confrontation. This strategy allows Iran to confront Israeli interests without engaging in open warfare.

Again, I don’t think any country should be fighting or providing military aid to fight indirectly (this includes the US providing weapons to Israel). The world is a terrible place and we should be focusing on making it better, not having petty squabbles over land.
