https://shield.ai/

The website is like out of the Watchdogs videogames or something lol

It just reeks of dystopia.

Especially this:

More than just preset behaviors & waypoints. Like a human pilot, Hivemind reads and reacts to the battlefield, and does not require GPS, waypoints, or prior knowledge to make decisions. It is the first and only fully autonomous AI pilot deployed in combat since 2018. From indoor building clearance with quadcopters to integrated air defense breach with fixed-wing drones, and F-16 dogfights, Hivemind™ learns and autonomously executes missions.

@yassie_j "china is tesla". my brother in christ. where is tesla's headquarters? where was it founded? what stock exchange is it listed on?

username9431,
@username9431@seafoam.space avatar

@yassie_j still just.. idk.. offends me that they called it tesla. tesla was a person. a genius. someone who's ideas and inventions were revolutionary changed the world. but yeah go on steal the name for a car company. we know you can't call it Musk or something like that.

oh yeah!! i had an idea yesterday!
so i've been needing an actual physical input device for "home automation" and midi triggers and things. but actual devices are either more money that i don't want to spend, or have too few features. I thought about building something myself for a while but that's no better!! electronics stuff is even more expensive when you buy individual parts instead of getting the whole thing from aliexpress or something.

but you know what has a whole lot of buttons already? a grid of them even? and costs very little if you buy used? and i have a few lying around?

can just plug usb keyboard into a raspberry pi or something. and write software that sends key presses over mqtt.

why didn't i think of it sooner :3

wizards are so gender. on my own up in my tower. casting spells and shit. making a hot mug of tea with some fire magic and getting comfy and peering into the orb. reading absolutely everything, building up a huge library of forbidden knowledge. writing spell scrolls and grimoires. and wearing cloaks. like why can't that be me lol :3 :3
