A bit of a weird question… If I want to have fox ears and tail (like, all the time if it was practical and not taboo), some cute noises, but still consider myself mostly human, what does that make me?...
Do note that many furries (myself included) consider themselves human. Humans who happen to like anthropomorphic animal characters. If you answer “yes” to the question “are you a fan of anthropomorphic animal characters?”, I’d say you count as a furry.
Now what counts as an anthropomorphic animal is a different discussion.
I’m also between gen Z and millennial and was the family’s tech kid and still get calls. Are you me? :D
Just yesterday I got a call asking how to select all images in a directory… And then another call about how to get those images to Google Drive, which is literally just drag and drop… And one of the people involved was my gen Z younger sister.
I've recently found that big (mostly open world) games tend to overwhelm or even intimidate me. I'm a big fan of the Rockstar games and absolutely adored Breath of the Wild, but my playthrough of Tears of the Kingdom has been a bit rocky from the get-go....
I personally find that because of the sheer amount of content, these games have great replayability. Every time I start Skyrim, even vanilla Skyrim, from the beginning, I will eventually find something I haven't seen before either because I chose a different style of play or by sheer chance.
I'm playing Elden Ring with my bf using the seamless co-op mod and though he's a veteran who's put countless hours into the game, we keep stumbling upon places and content he hasn't seen previously.
It would be kinda funny if the argument went to trans men having an unfair advantage when previously the argument was: "Show me even one trans man who has won against cis men." Goal posts are ever moving.
I woke up with a slight headache. Otherwise I'm enjoying the fruits of my labour as in the previous week, I've been doing a very detailed cleanup of my apartment. I'm on the winning stretch of that with just a bit of clutter left to clear up in the bedroom and possibly storage, and wiping the few remaining surfaces. 😄
Irl, you wouldn't be able to see it much. I have one of my OCs on my phone's lock screen and that's pretty much it. Online it's pretty obvious from the pfps and even though I only really talk about it in furry spaces, I'm not exactly hiding it in other spaces either.
This is a response. I guess it's something you can do. But it doesn't seem like it's going to help much - it will have so many false positives cause kids, but not really be accessible in an emergency.
Many instances have an approval process, making it difficult to mass produce bot accounts on any given instance. And if someone creates an instance for the sole purpose of having bot accounts for spamming, those instances will quickly get defederated without having to go through the whole process of identifying and banning individual accounts.

18+ Furries are typically more likely to be LGBTQ+, if it's okay to ask, what's your orientation / gender preference?

Does anyone else sometimes feel overwhelmed by (big) games?

Apparent lack of bots and controls for them?
What exactly prevents bots from spamming the shit out of Lemmy besides human moderators?
