Once I get a job I'm 100% buying myself some hardware (mostly just need cheap SSD / HDDs) to make myself a seedbox to stick in my closet. I also probably need to update my storage of romsets... Maybe run a home server too..... I also really need to set my laptop up with a nice stable Linux distro again, now that I don't need it to be a windows machine

I know many of you are worried about the sunsetting of Poast Classic. Just to answer some common questions:

  • The Racist Fediverse webring will still be available, and the links will still work.
  • Animated GIF hosting will be maintained through December 31, 2024. This should give you time to make other arrangements.
  • Unfortunately, the Flash games directory is part of Poast Classic and will go offline on March 31 with the rest of the page. Enjoy this last month with classics such as NIGGER SIMULATOR 98 and LET'S GO BILL CLINTON.

Windows 98 SE users who want to continue to use Poast should consider our GOPHER and TELNET servers. Only the Poast Classic web page is being sunset in March.

Admittedly the Canadian designed a capsule that would have killed the shit out of astronauts if they ever had to bail out of it but they never did and the (((Space Shuttle))) killed the shit out of astronauts pretty much for fun so.

@merchantHelios Challenger was a failure of the space shuttle in that 1) the SRBs were sort of part of the thing, not just the orbiter 2) the orbiter had no escape system so in the event of a totally-foreseeable series of failures the result would be total astronaut death.
