How do you manage your music genres?

Do you take care of them? Or just rely on some dataase autotagging? If you take care, do you go for umbrella genres (metal, rock, etc) or do you go more detailed subgenres (melodic death metal, progressive rock, etc)? or a mixture of both?

I just came home from an ice cream themed amusement park nearby. I was there with my son alone so needless to say, I am beat.

The park is super, the ice cream they produce is the best you can get in Austria and it's not even close. The area in the Bucklige Welt in Lower Austria is incredible.

So if you have little kids or a healthy appetite for ice cream, go and visit Eis-Greissler Erlebnispark!

Update 🧵 about my getting in shape story

If you follow my account, you may have noticed that I am on a getting in shape journey this year.

I was on my way to hit 100kg rather sooner than later. I didn't step on the scales for a long time, knowing that I wont like the results. And when I did, I didn't like the results. I was actually in shock.

Now, I don't care too much about the numbers, but I do care about how I feel and honestly also about how I look. I hated both.

PSA: If you're getting Error 500 messages from mastodon when trying to upload images from mobile: You're probably trying to upload a HEIC/HEIF image and the fastimage gem errors out.

Easy fix: search for fastimage in Gemfile.lock, change version to 2.3.0 and run bundle install. Then restart mastodon services.

There is a PR that has already been merged but it did not make it into a mastodon release it seems: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/28488
