There are so many issues, I could go on. Unless I’m missing something (possible) I don’t see much appealing about solarpunk because it seems to have a delusional nostalgia for the “good old days”, much in the way conservativism does.
...I mean I feel like it's more of an atmospheric/stylistic thing than an actual solution to society. Nobody is proposing a cyberpunk solution where we just let the corporations take over it all and turn everything dark and neon. I've never seen anybody saying we need to build airships, move back to steam, and bring back top hats with steampunk. It's the same with solarpunk... it's just the aesthetic you're going for.
It plugs in right along side the feeling of unplugging from the world and living on the land, plus some amenities. If I hear solarpunk I think counterpoint to Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing, not counterpoint to Carl Marx or Warren Buffet. I know there are some people who try to mimic it in their off grid shelter/cabin away from it all but like... whatever, you do you, it's just a style.
