Ive been loving this game. Its a card game with lots of depth to the optimization and some RNG but its not overly punishing. If youre looking for a fun casual game try it out! Its less than $10 on sale right now.
I love slay the spire!
Have recently been looking for games with a similar experience/core gameplay and came across Vault of the Void. I can really recommend that game of anyone is looking for something kind of similar to Slay the Spire. Although I'd say it's a bit more relaxed and definitely more colourful.
Well as a former Reddit lurker I can tell you that not all of us will just accept this shit and quietly switch to the official app. I just became a somewhat more active participant here instead.
Fuck Reddit tho. I hope it burns.
I've always been more into competitive games, like FPS and MOBA. But now, I'm starting to like more story-focused games that will add something to my life, or just awesome games that everyone should play at some time....
If you're on PC click the cog under your name on the right to open the menu then select "yes" for "Auto media preview".
If you're on mobile click the three lines in the top left corner, then click the cog and select "yes" for "Auto media preview".
I just noticed while writing this that this setting doesn't seem to carry over between PC and mobile, so if you switch between both you'll have to change the setting on both platforms.
Not really a cooking hack but freezing grapes works really well and they're a yummy and easy snack especially in summer. If you think your grapes might go off before you can use then or you got a batch that isn't as crisp as you'd like just freeze em.
I'm the same as you. There are some books I've read 10+ times lol.
There is just something super comforting about experiencing your favourite stories again.
Seems silly now that I think about it but I guess I get most excited about buying sweets and snacks... Just can't beat the taste of some nice chocolate.
Heya, I just started a new island in animal crossing and was wondering if anyone would be willing to let me visit their island and give me one of each fruit (don't need apples or peaches).
As someone who mostly lurks and rarely contributes, for me voting is a really nice way to say "I don't have anything meaningful to say about this topic but I appreciate/agree/like it".
I feel like kbin in general was a bit slow a couple hours ago. Maybe you should check again now? I just accessed the first two links from kbin and can see the communities (although it doesn't show any posts in the first and only one in the second).
Thanks for sharing these I love share the spire and subscribed to them now.
While that's true it still works as a sort of save button since you can see all the comments and posts you boosted easily in your profile, just as if you'd saved them. If you don't have any followers (or you don't mind sharing content you want to save with your followers) using the boost button as a work around until we get a save feature isn't a bad idea.
I've always felt kind of anxious about commenting or posting so in over 10 years on Reddit I only posted and commented a handful of times. I only joined kbin yesterday and I feel such an urge to properly engage with the community that it has made me push past my anxiety. I absolutely love it!
That is really cool! This probably isn't something I'd need in my day to day but it's a great tool to keep at the back of my head if I ever do have a more complicated issue or question that needs resolving so thank you very much for sharing.
Also thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed and extensive response. For sure made me smile to have a little program made just for me hehe.
Recommending Slay the Spire

If we call reddit users redditors, what do we call lemmy users
A lot of people say fedditors but that sounds way too derivative of reddit

Animal Crossing New Horizons - looking for fruit
Heya, I just started a new island in animal crossing and was wondering if anyone would be willing to let me visit their island and give me one of each fruit (don't need apples or peaches).
Reddit activated a word filter that whenever you say "fuck spez", your comment won't show up for anyone else. I just tested it on ModCoord. they're also deleting spez memes from the subs they nuked lol
r/ModCoord: The admins in charge of demodded subreddits are mass-removing images of Huffman previously shared on them...
Why vote on posts?
What is the purpose of voting up or down on? I'm not clear what voting is suposed to achieve?...

How does this work on kbin at the moment?...
At Reddit I can save a thread, at Mastodon I can bookmark a post or comment. How do I save a Kbin (or other) 'article', comment, etc?
Yes, I know browser bookmarks exist. But there must be some native functionality that I keep just not noticing - right?
I've felt more compelled to contribute to the "Fediverse" than I ever did on Reddit.
Over the last week or so I have noticed that I have a lot more fun engaging in discussions on here as opposed to reddit....
