I pay for Apple Music so I can listen to their catalogue, then I also download/buy albums that aren't in Apple Music's catalogue and upload them to iCloud. That way I get the convenience of streaming plus the hundred or so gigs of music in my collection that isn't on streaming services
The best part of video games back in the day was making memories with your friends, now it all feels like structured fun. “This is how you play the game and this is when you are supposed to have fun” Idk if that makes sense.
Expand your horizons and play games in genres you don't normally play. There's more to video games than just the shitty uninspiring AAA corporate cashgrabs.
I have 1400 games on Steam and 1500 on my wishlist. There's always new games coming out and literally thousands of games to explore and find gems in

I try not to see it as a list clearing situation. For me that just stresses me out with unnecesary "I'll never be able to play everything" FOMO. I see my library and wishlist as more a hat with a bunch of scraps of paper with game names. And I'll just start something up randomly and just see where it takes me.
It sounds cringy lmao, but I've found some genuinely amazing games and genres I never initially thought I'd be into
Which audio codec are you people using when ripping cd's? I used wav but the size made it not really fitting on my phone (60GB) I switched to FLAC. Many people I talked to said that CD's just use mp3 codecs in the First place.
You def have something going on with your files. I've had a lot of my collection since like Jr High and the same files that I had back then (That are still 320kbps) sound absolutely fine on whatever I play them on?
Starfield is set to release on September 6th and there's obviously a lot of excitement around it but will it work on Valve's Steam Deck? That's not currently clear.
Not EVERY mainstream studio, just mostly the biggest names in the west. Capcom is still slaying it with Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, Dragon’s Dogma, Street Fighter etc
Doesn’t even get me started on Kojima or Itsuno or Ueda or Miyazaki or Takahashi’s games
Rosenzweig, known for her Panfrost and Apple M1/M2 GPU driver work is now contracted by Valve to work on graphics driver development! Sounds like great news for Valve's push for Linux gaming.
30% isn't a lot. It's market standard. Valve taking 30% and giving you all of their features and support is infinitely bette than giving literally any other company 30%
LunarLux: I really like the art style of this one. The gameplay is turn based combat with a bit of some active/QTE elements.
Hammerwatch II: Sequel to Hammerwatch, a top down dungeon crawly twin stick RPG kinda game. Nothing too crazy, but it's a good gamer to relax to.
Eternights: A lot of people say this is just a lowe quality Persona 5 knockoff, but to me I see more Scarlet Nexus. It has some romance stuff in it, and the combat itself isnt anything too special but I found myself really liking what I played, and the music is really really good IMO
Devil Spire: This is a very retro inspired dungeon crawler that is oozing with atmosphere and charm. I really like this one
Sea of Stars: This is the one I've been patiently waiting on. Pixel art indie JRPG (Those are a dime a dozen really), but this one is punching way above it's weight class. The art is incredible, the music is catchy. Combat is engaging and enjoyable, and I need this game to hurry up and launch
Nothing of value was lost. I never watched it anyway because I find it just glorifying marketing and being advertised to. I always just waited until E3 was done and just check a list of what was announced. Saves time and I don't have to see all the cringy speeches or influencers or anything
Well of course, he's a comedian. But it's still a subjective opinion on the game, like anyone else's opinion.
You don't want reviewers to see who is "right" and who is "wrong". You watch reviewers so you can find people with similar tastes as yours for educated judgment from someone who knows the genre like you do.
This is my plan. It's gonna take a while but I plan on grabbing the Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster bundle on Steam when the summer sale starts and just go from there.
Are you genuinely saying the buggier a game is the better it is?
That's kinda weird. I've played tons of expansive games that don't have the amount of bugs a Bethesda game has. Beth games are buggy because they know people will buy it and defend it. They have no incentive to put in working QAing their game when people will write 3 paragraphs on the internet white knighting about it

It pains me to see so many people praise the acquisition ofr Microsoft to become "competitive" again.
Bro Microsoft is a trillion+ dollar company. They can spend their own fucking money making studios. If they can't, that's their problem. Letting them swallow up long time multi platform studios just to make their long running multi platform games Xbox exclusive is not the answer to that problem.
At least David wasn't using the tragedy to market the game himself, unlike Randy Pitfhford using BLM to get people to buy Duke Nukem games to "get back at pigs"
I doubt it. Epic's exclusive and free games fund has been dwindling year by year since it hasn't actually converted barely anyone to a paying customer.
I, like many gamers, grew up playing Pokémon Red and Nintendo 64 and was obsessed with Nintendo products. I graduated to a PS2 and PS3 and became super into Metal Gear Solid and Call of Duty and Fallout. Also spent a ton of time with the Guitar Hero series. I loved the escape gaming brought me and it genuinely helped me relax....
Yep same, I have a list I keep of books/movies/tv/games I'm interested in. If I start watching a show and binge it for a bit, I'll take a break and read a few chapters of a book, then maybe play a game.
