“Do we have any foreigners in the audience tonight? If so, please put up your hands... So where are you? Well wherever you all are, I think you should all just leave. Not just leave the hall, leave our country ... I don't want you here, in the room or in my country. Listen to me, man! I think we should send them all back. Stop Britain from becoming a black colony. Get the foreigners out. Get the wogs out. Get the coons out. Keep Britain white”
I don’t mean system files, but your personal and work files. I have been using Mint for a few years, I use Timeshift for system backups, but archived my personal files by hand. This got me curious to see what other people use. When you daily drive Linux what are your preferred tools to keep backups? I have thousands of...
Truenas on a inexpensive server with RAID. I have several computers in different rooms in the house I like to make music on, and on these pc's my network drives all have the same drive letters for the sample libraries, recordings, projects, and backup. So my projects can run from any computer without missing files. I always save locally and on the Truenas.
I used to check the front page at least once every day, and occassionally check specific subreddits. Now I don’t look at reddit unless theres some drama, like mods getting purged, then I’d go there and enjoy the drama. Occasionally there will be questions that only reddit has the answer to so I have to reluctantly use it. I...
I for one am not trusting this search engine for one bit
Since mid-2016, the company has started sending data to Microsoft Bing Ads, without informed consent of its users. It did not announce this to its users until mid-2021
No worries, I was interested in your post because I like a good search engine with respect to privacy of it's users, but when I read further into Qwant it all seems very shady from CEO to investors and not respecting privacy at all, only to inform users 5 years later of their partnership with Bing.
Atic Atac for me. TIL it was made by the guys who founded Rare. After school always playing that game. I am still gaming, but back in the day it was a whole different experience to me.
Back in the beginning of the 90s a friend of mine brought a cassette tape with this track. Told me it was the Chosen Ones, with DJ Doc. I did not have a copy of it and I still regret, because the album seems it is lost in time....

Not at all. May have been weird the first week breaking a habbit, but after two weeks I am getting used to scrolling thru kbin and don't miss reddit now.
Pihole runs fine on a raspberry pi for instance. In combination with a router with custom openWRT that forces all devices to use the pi's DNS, any device that logs on to the router will have ad blocking enabled. Only whitelisted domains that serve their own ads like youtube do not get blocked. So for youtube I do have to use browser extensions. I have this setup for years and I rarely see ads.
I experienced minor fps issues in some areas but in one boss fight massive frame drops and white flashes when turning around fast but I still like that game. Fallout New Vegas was another game that gave me issues but liked the game anyway.
I thought I would share my experience this evening with the group here seeing that I still excited as hell for getting this hodgepodge to work at all....
I am on Windows, automatic1111 with directML and rendering is pretty fast. 7700x, 6750xt and 32GB at 4800mhz and a couple of m.2 drives. No xformers tho and some problems when upscaling in txt2image, but it renders prompts with default settings in 10 to 15 seconds. Fast enough for me. AMD has updated their Adrenalin drivers lately to have better directML performance.
Some things can take some time or aren't supported on AMD, but it's surely faster then my rtx 1070 and 1080 rigs wich performed adequately, except with training.
