Here is a little preview of two new screensaver related preferences in the upcoming version of @jellyfin for #androidtv. With these you can control which items are showcased in your living room based on their age rating.

I noticed that when I sign into the kids account the background art for my libraries will be from a random movie -- which is very much not always child friendly in my case.
I haven't had time to report this on GitHub and/or look into it myself yet. 😅
@mforester@jellyfin you can set parental controls per user already. Some images like the generated thumbnails for libraries are not configurable right now and they could potentially include graphics that the user doesn't have access to. This would need to be changed on the server though, unrelated to the app.
@hetisniels@jellyfin yes, that's what I noticed. The parental controls work fine on the content of the library, but not the background it shows.
I'll take the time to write up a bug report this evening.
