I learned today that you can actually use this new CSS property to auto resize a textarea without any JS.

Browser support is almost at 100% (https://caniuse.com/?search=form-sizing).

@regis Pretty sure that 100% is incorrect. You seem to be linking to the wrong place.

In fact this is so new, that I don't think it's even mentioned on caniuse at all.

This appears to be the latest status:

"Chrome appears to be the only browser currently working on the new property, at least in Chrome Canary. There’s a quiet ticket in Firefox, and nada that I could find in WebKit. "

@regis strangely everybody here hates that, all our post editors are set to fixed heights lol.

that and the "checkboxes that look like little switches" were my two main surprises this year when i dropped them on the apple clan im stuck with, and they almost died.
