a lot of ppl are responding to the story about the lawyer who used #ChatGPT to write his brief by saying that he "fell for it" or "didn't know" about how bad #AI is
here's the thing
i don't even read a lot of news. and i'm certainly no tech expert. but the discourse about AI, LLMs, and ChatGPT has made the limitations OBVIOUS. i got the full story w/o even trying or having any expertise.
i have a hard time believing any functioning adult doesn't KNOW that ChatGPT is just fancy autocomplete
