Dealing with summer crowds?

Who managed to snag tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash
I was able to get mine via the Disneyland app about 2.5 hours after the queue opened. The app popped open a browser on my phone and I was able to select the quantity and dates and breeze right through without even seeing the Oogie Boogie queue page.
