Yesterday afternoon, I saw all the extra stuff they added to the #Pixar sculpture in the esplanade during the 15 hours since I'd seen it last. It's very nice, but my lament is that for Pixar, they often focus on the same several films. I appreciate that they've added a few more to this celebration, like #Ratatouille and #Brave and #WallE , #PixarFest#Disneyland#DisneyCaliforniaAdventure 1/2
A flat version of the iconic #Pixar ball is being installed in the esplanade between #Disneyland and #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure . Maybe Luxo Jr. will go at the top of the pole?
Banners for #PixarFest have already been put up in the esplanade.
No, it's not proof of aliens. People who have noticed the black smoke ring coming over #Disneyland are freaking out a bit. It's just the remnant of the fireball that's part of #WorldOfColorOne at #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure .
I decided to try the baja-style fish taco even after I realized that it's plant-based. I've tried some plant-based items, to varying degrees of satisfaction. Sadly, this was not one of my better experiences. You can sort of see that the texture vaguely looks like fish once you get past the breading. My issue was that it didn't taste seasoned at all. It was pretty bland. 1/3
It came with cabbage slaw, cilantro-lime crema and pico de gallo, and normally, I appreciate simple accompaniments because it lets the flavor of the fish shine through. With bland not-fish, the taco was pretty boring. Can't recommend this at all. 2/3
I don't know when this happened, but I just noticed today that the churro cart by Redwood Creek Challenge Trail now looks like a camping trailer. Look at the cute curtains. And the license plate! #GrizzlyFalls#DisneyCaliforniaAdventure
