Fighter: "I'm going to draw my sword and get ready for combat."
Cleric: "What? It's just an adorable little fluff ball!"
Fighter: "Dude, we've been walking around this town causing low level havoc for the last 2 hours. In all that time not once, not once, has that grinning bastard behind the screen described a single animal to us. And now he tells us there's something there that would suck us in? Nope, uh-uh, that's a trap, not a kitten. I guarantee it is probably some demonic soul eating netherbeast from a lower ring of hell."
