So it seems to me the one thing missing from the cornucopia of #DoctorWho on iplayer is all the children in need/comic relief specials. Sure, there's the one from the other week, but I have a yen for Curse ofFatal Death and Dimensions in Time :(

@miss_s_b Dimensions in Time is unfortunately stuck in an eternal broadcast rights quagmire. every person who worked on it was volunteering their time for a one-off Children in Need broadcast, so they would need the permission of every single one of those people in order to reuse it for any other purpose.
it would be a monumental task to get the permission of all of them (especially as some will have passed on in the 30 years since) so i think we have to settle for the versions that exist unofficially on YouTube
@miss_s_b@BBCRD must admit, I’ve not watched Dimensions in Time since it first aired (complete with 3D specs). But Curse of the Fatal Death is absolute perfection and needs to be more widely enjoyed.

Plus The Rani has Sam West in fetish gear as her sub ,er, I mean "companion" in it. But, admittedly, DiT is a bit more niche than Curse. @BBCRD
@ThetaSigma I suspect there's a nightmare of rights issues, and that's the real reason. I do have a soft spot for the Tennant/Davison one though. @BBCRD
Everything is crap and our country is going to hell in a brexit-driven xenophobia-fuelled handbasket, and yet onto this stage steps Doctor Who, proudly progressive, queer AF, woker than ever, and... it gives me hope.
That's a beautiful thing.
