Eric Jackson of #Eugene recently passed away after spending the last five years of his life advocating for the homeless there. He lived with them in the tents, racked up $12,000 in fines, and was a constant gadfly at city council meetings demanding better treatment of the homeless there. Rest in power, Eric. You were an inspiration to many. #BasicIncome, housing as a human right, and ending the failed War on Drugs can't come soon enough.
