@OutofPrintArchive after discussing ys it made me want to pull out my small #falcom pc collection with all the goodies I really enjoy seeing some of the random goodies I love that SC has sheet music and a drama cd and almost all of them have art books and playing manuals there’s a ton of great art in them. I’ll always be keeping an eye out for these from now on just for the little goodies
That's gorgeous!
The only time I could consider myself a PC player was during the late 80's when I had an IBM with one of those green only screens. Pretty basic games like Bruce Lee, Phoenix and such.
After that, it was all consoles and handhelds for me.
But I know for a fact that if I had grown up in Japan, I would have played a ton of PC games as well. Just thinking of all those RPG's and Visual Novels alone....
I used to be a huge #falcom fan until they started re-releasing games without upgrade paths for customers. I own the PS4 version of Ys 8 but if I want it for PS5 I just have to buy the whole game again. I understand Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal did a similar thing but Royal is a significant improvement while this isn't. I'm not buying Facom games anymore until they stop and fix this practice.
@NinjaYeti76 I don’t know what you mean here by complaining about upgrade paths. The photos are of the US PlayStation store, which is the responsibility of NIS America, not Falcom. Falcom’s biggest issue is they are a small company with limited resources and they primarily focus on Japan. Can you explain why this is Falcom’s fault?
