Ok so 13.2 has passed the verifying stage and is now extracting the archives. Maybe I'll get to trial :freebsd: yet ?
I have to say the community around it seems great as there's lots of docs and the community on here have been extremely helpful so far.

@JustineSmithies hint: after using the up-to-date installer to install 13.2, you'll need to update the slightly outdated installation.

tl;dr

freebsd-update fetch install

Then restart OS and review,

freebsd-version -kru ; uname -aKU

And I've successfully installed 13.2 for the very first time. Now time to look around and see how I get on. :freebsd:
