About half of what Joker 1 sold overall. As much as I like Monsters doing well, I gotta say, either this was a really weak entry or I’ve outgrown the series in the past 13 years or so since we last got one in the west. The story and characters felt especially weak this time and the changes to synthesis seemed like they were pushing you into buying the DLC to re-scout monsters e.g., synthesis relying more on specific combinations than before - I barely made a team full of B rank monsters and only ever made a single A rank before finishing the secret final boss.
