One of the most disgusting things that happened to me is gaslighting through "you're just traumatized and brainwashed" when it comes to denying facts about my people. It happened by an activist here in the Mastodon community who I'll leave unnamed. At the time I thought it was kindness but I'll give you this - the only way in which I've been too traumatized to understand the situation was thinking you're trying to be good. Fake sympathy against a tiny minority is horrific beyond words. #jewish
