Two things I need to find: A new Matrix homeserver (currently on matrix.org) and a good Lemmy instance...
I mean, I could selfhost both of them, but I think that would blow up my available resources...
Edit: I don't want ANY finacial offers. I am here to seek advise, to get into a discussion if an instance is actually fitting. If I would want to a "private" instance, I will do it by myself!

For lemmy I have thought of feddit.de or similar, but I will have to check the terms and stuff... Also it has been kinda popular in the German space and maybe I would be fueling a kind of centralisation :nkoThink:
@austin I would want it to be inside the EU, well moderated and reasonably fast/responsable oh and no nazi/right-wing/conservatkve shit, but I guess that is obvious :neocat_lul:
@raphael@austin nice thought, but I don't want to pay for services I won't even use, as I already have my own Mastodon instance and I currwnrly don't need Funkwhale. Also if I would selfhost, I am the kind of person who wants to do everything by myself ^^
@MagicLike@austin this is not for self-hosting, this is a paid service for access to the communick "flagship" instances.
As for having à la carte plans: this is how I was originally offering things. Separately, they were offered for $1/month or $10/year. Would you be interested in Lemmy+Matrix for $19/year?
@raphael@austin no. As I said if I would want my own server I would want to do it myself. From setting up the OS to logging in. Even if I would have to screw the VPS together myself.
