#Matrix experience on the phone (iOS) is atrocious.
There are 3 clients total. Element seems to support all the features but has some horrendously bad UX. It's cryptic to the point where it's hard to figure how to navigate it. It also randomly doesn't show messages in the threads until very late after.
FluffyChat is clearly not a native app. You just feel it in how clunky the interactions are. Doesn't support threading either, which makes it useless for e.g. the slack bridge.
I remember Element X was actually a good experience, but it requires some specific protocol extension that's implemented with a proxy that doesn't work with Conduit
