It's a bummer that to get best #matrix experience you gotta set up your own server because then you can finally use bridges and other tools that actually work, and you can also disable encryption by default.
You can also disable encryption completely which honestly most people would be fine with.
I don't understand why I can't encrypt only the messages I want to be encrypted. Why does it have to be either/or thing?
Would be cool if I could talk without encryption but if I talk about something very personal I could encrypt that post and give the key to read it to anyone who wishes to see it (if I allow it).
