@wiredfire Oh my backlog is just ridiculous at this point and my gaming time is ever diminishing so I feel you. I'm hoping I'll be able to finish TOTK fairly soon so I can finally move on to something else.

They surely must have done a reprint sometime.
I love Platinum Games, so I nearly always pick them up as they release.
I don't do that for many companies now that I think about it...

I just bought 2 of the mystery box games from super rare games. I have no idea what I'll get. Could even be something I got before but here I am spending the money 🤷♂️

@OutofPrintArchive Oh I'm nowhere close to having the full series, I started collecting physical copies too late. But if there's an opportunity to grab a few for a fair price then I'm all over it. Did you grab one while they were up?
@SimonSays I'm too afraid to get a duplicate, so I didn't want to risk it.
Not to mention that I overspent to a ridiculous amount this year. So wether I want to or not, I have to cut back severely for a while.
Luckily I still have a bunch of preorders that are already paid for on the way.
I started getting Super Rare games when they started, but at the time I didn't do my research well enough, so I skipped on games that I later on found out were really great.

Yeah, in the end it's much cheaper to just pick up the triple packs.
I can always sell games that I end up hating.
But so far, that hasn't happened.
Quite often I do go "now what the hell is that?" as I have no idea what a certain game is or where it came from, despite doing my utmost best to stay on top of new releases. 😂
But somehow they are able to pick games that always end up being really fun or at least super interesting and unique.
@OutofPrintArchive Literally just had that reaction with Orbital Bullet they just announced haha. Think I'll have to start the triple pack on the next go round. Maybe they'll be the ones who pick up Marble It Up!

It's been on my wishlist ever since it launched.
Was so close to picking it up with the launch day discount, but I was hoping for a physical.
Reminds me of Resogun on PS4, which was one of the two games why I got a PS4 at launch, believe it or not. The other was Driveclub, which didn't make launch.
@OutofPrintArchive Well that's great to hear! Sometimes it's really hard to find any reviews on the games they list so I have to by replies and comments elsewhere. I shall have to be refreshing their page on Thursday evening!

Yeah, it can be really tough to find reviews for indie games.
That's why I try and follow several YouTube channels but also have subscriptions to Switch Player and Nintendo Force. Now that the first one is gone, that'll get a bit harder again...
Sometimes it pays off to just go by your gut feeling, but that can be really risky and I've ended up feeling really bad when I waste money on some terrible games.
@OutofPrintArchive Yeah I've tried my gut feelings a few times and it has worked more often than not. But I'd say especially on Switch, going through the new releases is extremely tough trying to pick out the good from the bad on the eshop.

The insane volume of releases makes it nearly impossible.
Even when trying to scroll through it all to try and discover new games, my brain just ends up going on autopilot after a while and nothing really registers anymore, so that doesn't help me one bit. 😅
The best thing is to follow people who point out great hidden games.
Like Square Pegs, John Riggs, Hallowed be Thy Game, etc.
@OutofPrintArchive Ooh, thank you for the recommendations! I've been relying on NintendoLife and SwitchUp (the latter being better at showing off more unknown titles) but it will definitely help having some more folks handing out their opinions.
