I hate card collecting mechanics. I also found out that this game had it after I’d been playing for a bit, when I was first required to battle and have a card to do so with. I think it was on chapter 2? So I’ve sunk-cost fallacied myself into dealing with it, especially since it seems less Magic: the Gathering and more “pick the two with the highest number and go”.
